Greek Cypriot Converts To Islam
The self hate of some Greek Cypriots apparently knows no bounds.
A Hellenic Nationalist living in the belly of the beast.
I'm a Hellenic Nationalist living in New York City, the epicenter of globalization and Western decadence. I plan to use this blog as a stream of consciousness, a soapbox, and a bitching post. I offer the unique perspective of an old world Nationalistic upbringing while raised in the cultureless and nation-less Western world of meaningless nation-less nihilism and market values. I will be a critic and a dilettante and I hold dear to my heart the dream of a Nationalist Revolution in my Fatherland.

Island people have a lot of self- hate, just look at the island of Formosa, don't even think they are Chinese anymore and biting at the bit to become the 51st state of this POS Country.
St. John of Damascus's Critique of Islam
Cypriots are Phoenicians, they are Arabs, Arapis, they are not Greeks. Makarios was a communist. See cyprus-conflict.net.
All the Islands of the Mediterranean were first settled by Phoenician Arabs! That is why the Sicilians, Cretans, Maltans, Corsicans, and Cypriotes all share the "vendetta".
The comments regarding the Phoenician ancestry may be sound but that is besides the point. Most "Greeks" probably partly that too, as well as Slavic, Turkish, as well as Greek. It's what is in your heart that counts.
The notion that modern Greeks are racially distinct from their classical ancestors, let alone being "Slavic" and "Turkish" (!), is absurd. Only the uneducated and ignorant or those who have vested interests propagate the notion that modern Greeks have significantly changed over the centuries. Anthropologists and geneticists both have established the racial continuity between ancient and modern Greeks and refuted the (usually politically-motivated and biased) notion that modern Greeks have little or no ethnic link to their ancestors.
