Archbishop Christodoulos Denounces "Greek-Turkish Friendship"

I stumbled on to the news in PanArmenian.net, and I could not find a Greek site reporting on this yet. Archbishop Christodoulos of the Church of Greece is said to have issued a report that is said to be seriously critiquing the degenerate-Greek political establishment and it's master the EU's genocidal plan for the Greek race cloaked in its current programme of "Greek-Turkish friendship":

The section «Hellenism against Turkish tsunami» said that whenever Turkey approaches Europe, it will be fraught with undesirable consequences for Hellenism. «Even activities of Western-leaning Turks have always resulted in misfortune to Hellenism and it never taught a lesson to Greeks,» Archbishop Christodoulos stated. He added, «the reason lies in totally destructive nature of the Turkish tsunami.» The period of friendship between the EU and Turkey, that started December 17, 2004, «will strongly strike on Hellenism with mathematical accuracy,» the Greek Archbishop stated.

The Greek left most especially , has been heavily promoting this Western plan, which is not at all original. NATO has argued for Greek-Turkish friendship ever since the beginnings of NATO, the first such programme of "Greek-Turkish friendship" was implemented by the francophile, republican, liberal and masonic Young Turks who actually rode to power on a platform of equality and fraternity with Greeks, and a few years later at the opportune time implemented the Hellenic Genocide.

Actually, that "other Archbishop" who you said was dismissed for "selling Church land to Israelis" was the Patriarch of Jerusalem. But, more importantly, Palestinian ministers recently CLEARED Patriarch Irineos of selling land to the Jews (link: http://www.khaleejtimes.com/DisplayArticle.asp?xfile=data/middleeast/2005/July/middleeast_July108.xml§ion=middleeast&col=).

It pisses me off that a lot of Greeks still believe this myth which the anti-Orthodox political establishment in Greece capitalized on in order to "scandalize" Greek Orthodoxy.

But now that Irineos has been proven innocent, the Greek media is completely silent about this fact -- as are the Leftist politicians, such as the leader of Synaspismos Alekos Alavanos, who actually demanded (!) the Patriarch's resignation (link: http://www.ekathimerini.com/4dcgi/_w_articles_politics_100009_29/03/2005_54544).

For some reason, that first link isn't showing up right. Part of the link keeps on getting converted to an odd character. So I'll try to use HTML to link to it:

Click here and, in case it still fails to show, simply do a web search for an article titled "Palestinian ministers clear Greek church ex-leader". In addition, I'm sure there are many other articles (naturally from non-Greek sources) on the matter as well.
