It is a terrible shame to kill your own kin. Thank God that the majority of Greeks (including those in Cyprus) are resilient against the "invasion" of foreigners in Greece and Cyprus.
I know that if a Greek who loves his/her country (or countries if you include Cyprus) reads the news about this incident that he/she will weep.
However, at the same time, this only proves the things Greek patriots everywhere have been saying all along: "Greeks do not need foreigners and illegal immigrants."
This also proves to the majority of the Greek people in Greece and Cyprus that patriotic parties in their respective governments have a likelier chance of solving serious domestic problems.
I know that this incident is truly dark in its proportions. However, I would safely say that for the Greek Cypriot woman to kill her husband proves that she is not a member of the host population of Greek Cypriots but rather a lesser of the host population. The two Greek host populations of Greece and Cyprus are fine, and would very well be appalled at this incident.
Expect changes to be made in the domestic affairs of Greece and Cyprus soon.
