Georgios Karatzaferis: The Greek "Gay Nationalist"

Georgios Karatzaferis is leader of the Greek party called "Popular Orthodox Rally" (LAOS) (in Greek "ΛΑΟΣ" which literally means people). In reality, LAOS is not in any way Orthodox , nor Nationalist.In all fairness, they should drop the word Orthodox from their political name, and simply call themselves People, their new motto should really be "gays are people too."

After reading this revealing interview given by the leader of what is now the only "democratic Nationalist" ( an oxymoron if there ever was one) political movement in Greece, we can safetly assume that the current "Nationalist" leadership in electoral politics is farcical, exemplified by the shifty Karatzaferis and his new partner in charalatanism--lawyer Makis Voridis leader of the late metopo or soon to be no more Hellenic Front.

Karatzaferis not only granted an interview to a publication that openly promotes sexual deviance,pornography, abortion and "minority rights" in Greece, he also comes out with the truth about his party--it not only has key officials who are openly homosexual , its leader advocates "human rights" for homosexuals and has the audacity to use the heretical Western arguments of seperation of Church and State or laicism --note Karatzaferis's trademark befuddled remarks on the issue of his party's so-called "religious ideology" in the interview.

To be frank, I was always suspicious of Karatzaferis's bombastic style and thirst for controversy, it is not the mark of a visionary , rather it is the characteristic of a clown. And Makis Voudaris, who was once an avowed Aprilist supporter in his youth, is now a careful democrat and is well-known in Greece for promoting and fawning over French "democratic Nationalism", a study in political opportunism if there ever was one. Truth be told, I never saw any type of vision for a clear Nationalist Revolution by Hellenic Front , their deafening silence on the issue of social decadence made clear that they are simply a gaggle of provincial, anti-immigration cretins.

Considering the fact that Le Pen, is widely regarded as a clown for his cliche and unoriginal calls to "throw out the Arabs" and sloppy mass-man use of an occasional "controversial" stance on anti-Semitism coupled with the all too typical tolerant attitude toward homosexuals, its no wonder that Karatzaferis and Vodiris are in bed together, literally if not figuratiuvely, they both have the same foreign model. A Hellenic Nationalist comrade made a keen observation that while PASOK and New Democracy are chained to America and the Jews, LAOS and/or Hellenic Front can be said to belong to the French. I can't imagine which is worse(!)


I cannot provide an active link for the degenerate-Greek website Karatzaferis froliks in, those who want to do their own research , now have the means to do so...Hellenic Lines has been removed from the link to Hellenic Nationalist blog, replaced by links to Golden Dawn and Galazia Stratia, whose leaders at the very least are not homophiles.

Δεν είναι τυπογραφικό λάθος. Ούτε σας γελούν τα μάτια σας. Ο Γιώργος Καρατζαφέρης κατάφερε να μας ρίξει όλους από τα σύννεφα…

Ο ευρωβουλευτής και πρόεδρος του ΛΑΟΣ, ενός συντηρητικού κόμματος μεσαφείς ακροδεξιές αποκλίσεις (που ο ίδιος αρνείται), τοποθετήθηκεπροσφάτως υπέρ της συμβίωσης ανθρώπων του ίδιου φύλου, αιφνιδιάζονταςφίλους και αντιπάλους.

Πολιτικός ελιγμός; Ψηφοθηρία; Βεβιασμένος εκσυγχρονισμός; Για τακίνητρα του Γιώργου Καρατζαφέρη, μόνο εικασίες μπορούμε να κάνουμε.Οι δηλώσεις του πάντως προκαλούν πολιτικό ενδιαφέρον και ακόμαμεγαλύτερο σάστισμα, ειδικά όταν άλλοι πολιτικοί, πατεντάτοιπροοδευτικοί, παραχώνουν αμήχανα κάτω από το χαλί τοθέμα "ομοφυλόφιλοι & Πολιτεία", δίνοντας ρεσιτάλ αοριστολογίας.

Βεβαίως, κανείς δεν καθαγιάζεται επειδή δηλώνει πως «συμπαθεί» εκείνηή την άλλη κοινωνική ομάδα. Τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα δεν είναι λοταρίααπό όπου τραβά κανείς ό,τι θέλει. Τα υιοθετείς πακέτο είτε πρόκειταιγια ομοφυλόφιλους, είτε για μετανάστες, είτε για κρατούμενουςσυνείδησης, είτε για γυναίκες που καταφεύγουν στην άμβλωση. Καιτο «πακέτο» αυτό είναι μάλλον στενόχωρο για την όλη ιδεολογία του ΛΑΟΣ.

Γεγονός παραμένει ότι ο λόγος του Γιώργου Καρατζαφέρη επί τουπροκειμένου μας προβληματίζει. Και πρέπει να προκαλέσει τα υπόλοιπαπολιτικά κόμματα να αναμετρηθούν με τη συνείδησή τους.

Κύριε πρόεδρε, ποια ακριβώς ήταν η επίμαχη τοποθέτησή σας όσον αφοράτους ομοφυλόφιλους;

Αυτό που είπα εγώ είναι ότι ναι, δύο ενήλικες πρέπει να μπορούν νασυμβιώνουν ελεύθερα μαζί και η σχέση τους αυτή να ενέχει κάποιανομική αναγνώριση. Γιατί να αρνηθούμε κάτι τέτοιο σε δύο ανθρώπουςπου διατηρούν μια σχέση δέκα, είκοσι, τριάντα χρόνια; Γιατί π.χ. ανένας
