Progressive Intellectuals In Russia

Russia is the only European country today whose intellectuals realize the inherent destruction of organized Jewry and of Jewish rabbinical religious hate, here is the latest:

Boris Spassky, the former chess world champion, has caused uproar in Russia by signing a petition that demands the country's state prosecutor bans a number of Jewish organisations.

Spassky was among 5,000 Russians who put their name to a letter calling for a ban on all religious and national groups acting on the principles of the Shulchan Aruch, [Note added: see link to the works of scholar Israel Shahak with details on Shulchan Aruch] a repository of Jewish law originally written in the 1560s.

The "Letter of 5,000", sent three weeks ago, branded Judaism "anti-Christian and inhumane"...

It warned of a "hidden campaign of genocide against the Russian people and their traditional society and values"...

Unfortunately, Spassky then bemoans that he gave his signature to the letter. It's not enough to dissent. We must have courage too.

I think its absolutely ridiculous that the "Telegraph" writes that this incident "has caused uproar in Russia". The truth of the matter is that the average Russian -- if he doesn't outright hate Jews -- is extremely suspicious of them. Anti-Jewish sentiments are not taboo in Russia (unlike in the absurd Western world) and certainly do not cause uproar amongst the populace. If they did, then so many political and public figures would not be denouncing Jews on a regular basis in Russia. The only "uproar" caused by this incident and incidents like it, hails from the Jews, "human rights" organizations, and from Liberals. Even the Communists of Russia disparage Jews -- and that says a lot.

Quite right, there is no outrage from the Russian people but only from those organizations working against the national interests. It is published opinion masquerading as "public opinion"
