Greek Woman Gets Embryo Implants From Daughter!

I'm not quite sure what the church's position is on this, "The woman, who was implanted with embryos from her daughter's fertilised eggs, gave birth to twin boys in good health and weighing 2.5 kilos, " something about it definitely makes me flinch, in a bad way, its almost like the woman, was impregenated by her son-in-law, not to mention the tampering of the embryo by doctors!

The church seems to have lost its rudder. I wonder what its real position or role in the nation's spiritual wellbeing actually is.
Like everything else the church appears on retreat mode, instead of adopting an assertive and peremptory stand on its traditional place and role for greek sociey. The tolerance exhibited by the church to encroachment of its patrimony by enemies and external pressures defies the imagination. I am still awaiting a cogent and intelligent reply as to how the church did not oppose, by violence if necessary, the passage of the bill enabling the construction of a mosque in the heart of Athens by the government gorillas.
