We were recently alerted to Greek Genocide Denial propaganda on the website of the Greek Embassy in Washington DC, the document titled Greece cites UN treaties in withdrawing 'Asia Minor genocide' decree , dates back to 2001, and erroneously cites1948 treaties drafted by the United Nations in its claims, please refer to the actual UN documentation ,on what constitutes a Genocide here, the incident by the Simitis government spokesperson Reppas sparked a fury of protest from the diaspora and some observers now cite this as fine example of how grassroots diaspora pressure, dating back to that time in 2001, is the reason why today's Greek government spokespersons , unlike those in the past, make stronger statements to curent bullying demands by Turkey's government in regards to our history.
The Greek Embassy , one of the vassal Embassy's of the EU in Washington DC that ignobly flys the EU flag of Frankish occupation, the Embassy of France in Washington DC, by the way, actually only flys a French flag, one wonders why the lesser or least significant member(s) of the Eu feel the need to overcompensate by flying the Frankish -Eu flag, in any case, the Greek Embassy thinks its slick by citing UN documents in regards to Genocide as the reason why they deny Greek Genocide, carefully read just how broad the basic criteria are for recognising Genocide ,according to the UN, specifically:
Article 2 In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such: (a) Killing members of the group; (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
Much hullabaloo has been made over the so-called "Orthodox holy alliance " that includes such signatories as Bulgaria and Russia, and the astute Serb-Hellenic forums contributor Adamantios tears it up, by succinctly exposing its globalization-prone tendencies.
I'm a Hellenic Nationalist living in New York City, the epicenter of globalization and Western decadence. I plan to use this blog as a stream of consciousness, a soapbox, and a bitching post. I offer the unique perspective of an old world Nationalistic upbringing while raised in the cultureless and nation-less Western world of meaningless nation-less nihilism and market values. I will be a critic and a dilettante and I hold dear to my heart the dream of a Nationalist Revolution in my Fatherland.
